Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Potopopi CamSync mobile application (the "App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope of License & Proprietary Use

Potopopi CamSync is a proprietary backup tool. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the binary distribution of the App delivered via official channels (e.g., Google Play Store) under these Terms.

2. Provided "As-Is" (No Warranties)

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

• We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely free of data transmission glitches.
• We make no guarantees regarding connection stability with local cameras, external USB hardware, or third-party cloud service providers.

3. Limitation of Liability & Data Loss Waiver

Because Potopopi CamSync orchestrates file deletion, pruning, and low-level MTP file copying:

• No Liability for Data Loss: Under no circumstances shall the developer (purnadika) be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of photos, corrupted videos, storage device failures, or accidental deletion of source files.
• User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring you have secondary backups of your media files and that you do not prune original files from your digital camera before confirming their successful synchronization and verification.

4. Third-Party Charges and Cloud Storage Costs

Your sync workflows utilize network bandwidth and host cloud services:

• Data Costs: You are fully responsible for any internet/cellular data costs incurred by background or foreground syncing. Make sure to configure cellular restrictions in the App's settings if you have limited cellular data.
• Cloud Provider Terms: You are responsible for maintaining your accounts on Google Drive, Nextcloud, or Immich, including payment of any storage costs, usage limits, or subscription fees associated with those accounts.

5. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App following any updates signifies your acceptance of the new Terms.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the developer's jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
